Outside of a couple free movie passes when I was in my 20’s, I have not been, am not now, and likely will never be a professional reviewer of anything other than my own deficiencies. Nevertheless, I still engage plenty of creative material, and occasionally write down my thoughts when I do.
Everything below is my very small contribution to the endless conversation/debate about what’s of artistic value in our culture. These reviews are pieces, never the whole, of the puzzles that confront us today. Readers may not agree with my thoughts on something, which is fine as they weren’t written to seek agreement; additionally, it’s entirely possible I no longer agree with what I wrote either. These are here to stimulate rather than stifle conversation, and hopefully my reviews will help engage your minds and hearts with the larger world around us.
