This story follows Peter, who attends a self-help conferences called The-Me-Of-Now, led by the charismatic motivational speaker Robert Davidson. At the conference Peter is introduced to a teaching that promises to integrate his life’s difficulties and lead him to happiness today. For Peter, who’s often felt like he doesn’t fit with others, this sounds like an exciting and promising outcome. But when he’s confronted with the opportunity to change his past, Peter is forced to decide: does he love who he is today, or would he rather be a different person?
